Hey there friends >'.'<

I wanted to remind everyone about 2 things:

1) We are still trying to move as many people as possible to our email list instead of our mailing list. We understand some of our supporters do not have the ability to receive emails and we understand that. If you are able to receive email instead of paper mailings, please let us know. It will SAVE us so much money on printing and postage. Just send an email to info@stayawhilecatshelter.org and let us know your name and email address you wish to use.

2) Our annual Birthday Pawlooza will be on Saturday, July 11 from 12:00 - 4:00. We will have cupcakes, snacks and raffle baskets! If you would like to donate a raffle basket or even the items to go into the basket - let me know! Celebrating all the SAW birthdays is a big deal for the cats 😍

Since April 25th, 2015, we have had the honor to love on, play with and care for Rudy. He had been dumped, like garbage, in an apartment parking lot. That was the last sad and scared time that he experienced! From that day on, he only knew love and kindness.

On Monday, VERY unexpectedly, Rudy was struggling to breathe. Off to the ER where he was diagnosed with heart failure and was filled with fluid. We said our goodbyes and grieved this 11 year old sweetheart. What a true pleasure it was to know Rudy! Such a goofy lover boy 💙💔
