We said goodbye to Taz on May 29. This guy started his SAW time being incredibly scared, having never been touched by humans. Our staff and volunteers, oh he had his favorites, worked endlessly with him to where he was being petted and loved it! Honestly, there is nothing like watching a cat like him, grow into all that trust!
Taz loved other cats and his favorite was Wolfie Bear - he followed Wolfie everywhere and if Wolfie was ok with someone or something, then chances are, Taz would be too. Such a special and heartwarming friendship to have had the pleasure of watching

I have fallen behind on several sad posts. I could do them all in one share but, they each deserve their own.
On May 22nd, we said goodbye to Digit 🩶
He lived at the shelter awhile and then needed to find a foster to work on his weight. He lived several years with one of our staff members and she treated him like royalty! They were perfect for each other and became best friends >'.'<
Until we meet again Digit - it was an honor... 🐾🌈🤍🩶
